This Marble kitchen, impressive due to its marble monumental work top, was recently the kitchen of the week on Remodelista. Not surprising! This marble block and the way it is supported is a real exploit!
Obviously, the joinery which supports it was studied for. There are numerous feet which allow the distribution of the weight in an equal way and these feet are strengthened in the lower part by some stainless steel and some brass which allow their adjustment. I find this work wonderful! And the results: sober and luxurious at the same time.

The owners choose to have no dishwasher and also decided not to put a door everywhere. It is thus necessary to plan how to dust off dishes in case they would not serve frequently:)
I am amazed by the faucet, but especially by the siphon in golden brass! A touch of glamour in this almost monachal atmosphere, don’t you agree?
Even the joint between the plan and the wall seems golden, it is just haughtiness!
The rest of the house, built in the mountain at North Vancouver in Canada, is also worth the look: her monumental beams and ultra-contemporary cupboards, in ash tree treated with soap, which hide books. Yes, the owners have chosen, contrary to the majority of people, to highlight their marble kitchen utensils and to hide books!
