It might seem impossible as you scroll through eons of conversation, but Mon Livre SMS has made it simple. Just follow these quick steps, and you’ll be one memory closer to holding your heart’s conversations in your hands.
1- If you use iCloud to save your photos, and you want them in your book, access the discussion thread, click on the name of the contact (or group), click on the “info” icon, and click “download.”
2 – Back up your iPhone on a computer.
Connect your iPhone to a PC or Mac (some PCs and Macs require the latest version of iTunes to back up your phone). Make a backup of your phone on your computer by ensuring the “encrypt local backup” box is unchecked.
3 – Download the Mon Livre SMS software.
Now, this is where things might get interesting. Our software is required to extract the messages you want to print in your book.
If you have a PC Computer, simply follow the prompts allocated to the PC’s “ create my book” here.
If you have a Mac, you are going to have to work a little harder before you hold the magic in your hands.
The link to the software download for Mac is under “create my book”. Please note, to open the software, it may be necessary to right-click (control + click) on the MonLivreSms icon and then click “open”. Then, for your backed-up messages to be read correctly by the software, they must be put in the “Full Disc Access” folder. To achieve this you must click on the apple icon in the top left corner of your screen, click on “system preference”, and continue on the “Security and Confidentiality” icon to adjust your access settings.
4 – Choose which conversation to print.
When you launch the app, conversations appear with the longest exchange at the top of the list. Select the conversation you would like to have transferred to your account.
You can find your saved conversations at any time under the “My conversations” tab.
5 – Customize your Mon Livre SMS book.
Once the conversation has been uploaded, you will have to choose a title for your book as well as a colour option. You can also choose to write a short dedication and select the colour of the speech bubble for each participant.
6 – Submit your contact and delivery information.
There is world-wide delivery from the printing press in France.
7 – Verification of the layout.
You will receive a PDF document you can print once you’ve ensured everything is as you designed it. If that’s not the case, contact them and they’ll help you find a solution.
8 – Finally, you will receive your beautiful, custom-made book.
