This also involves buying products that will allow you to clean up quickly, since your guests will be waiting for their host to entertain them.
Use your TV
People usually don’t prefer having the TV on because it takes all the attention. But if you are running low on space, you will want to ensure that some guests stay in the TV room, and keep themselves busy that way. You don’t have to put on anything too intrusive, that is loud and disturbs the atmosphere; a movie playing in the background on mute will be quite sufficient and will keep the guests entertained.
Prep your food before hand
The best thing you can do at a housewarming is prep the food early on because then you wont be frustrated by everyone entering the cooking space as you are working. This will also give you all the time to socialize with your guests.
