Life is full of complexities and hardships. We should strive to make it better and simpler as much as we can. A simple life and a simple home help us maintain a clear head and be in a clear headspace. Below are some tips to simplify life and home so that we lead a life away from complexities.

  1. Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep. Let your body rest and recharge for another day of a hectic routine.
  2. Be mindful of what you put in your body. Make healthy diet choices.
  3. Try to increase your water intake. You can set goals corresponding to the time of how much loiters of water you should be having.
  4. Establish a morning routine, make yourself some coffee, and get in a morning run if you can.
  5. Make habit of working out at least 3 times a week. You can opt for yoga, platies, or cardio.
  6. Maintain a weekly planner, this way you will know if you have any commitments such as parties or appointments. 
  7. Write a to-do-list daily and make sure you complete all the tasks mentioned in it. 
  8. Start doing something you love besides your work. You can start gardening, painting, or writing, whatever floats your boat.
  9. Give yourself some time to meditate, do what makes you calm. 
  10.  Try to minimize the use of plastic and non-reusable objects. Things that are harming the environment also harm the positive vibes.

  14. To meal prep on weekends and cut short the time of cooking on weekdays. You can chop up the veggies, half-cook the meats and wash and cut other vegetables so that every day you have a meal ready in 10 minutes.
  15.  Give time to your loved ones. Work can wait, everything else can wait but do not regret missing the birthday of your spouse or football finals of your kids.
  16. Invest in relationships as they are the purest form of wealth. Give love and attention and you will receive love and attention in return.
  17. Never hold on to negative energy as it attracts more negative energy. Let go of emotional baggage and free yourself from envy and evil.
  18. Invest in setting up your house nicely. Add pops of color wherever it looks good. Add plants and pots for a feeling of freshness in your home. You automatically feel good when your environment is clean.
  19. Keep your finances in check and never spend more than your means. Don’t give in to the never-ending cycle of credit cards and credit payments.
  20. Try to give yourself time, away from disturbances and away from hassles. No interruption of social media and mobile devices. Give yourself time to ponder and reflect on life.
